Terraqua Environmental Solutions supplied in early February 2015 a Floating Island Ecosystem designed to attract more birds to Canal & River Trust’s Fradley Junction Reservoir. Supported by Terraqua’s Chris Ansell the Island was installed by the local volunteers group. The work is part of a project to improve the wildlife habitat at the popular canal-side spot. Read more
As the Canal & River Trust’s sole UK’s dredging contractor, Land & Water Services were instructed to dredge and repair a 500 metre stretch of the Grand Union Canal along part of the Slough Arm which travels in a fairly straight line from the Cowley Peachey Junction into Slough terminating by Stoke Poges.

The River Itchen is a river in Hampshire noted as one of the world's premier chalk streams for fly fishing, especially using dry fly. It is designated as a Site of Special Scientific interest (SSSI) and is noted for its high quality habitats, supporting a range of protected species including the endangered water vole, otter, brook lamprey and white-clawed crayfish.
Terraqua supplied a range of high quality products to enable a soft-bioengineered erosion system to be installed at the water’s edge. A key objective was to collect a constant supply of fine sediment and to establish vegetation, the bioengineering design detail was critical within this SSSI site. Read more
