We not only grow and supply plants and materials but carry out a variety of services at and near to the water’s edge
Our dedicated team have had many years’ experience in bio-engineering and the installation of sustainable green erosion control systems. Our aim, wherever possible, is to use sustainable environmental products to combat issues associated with erosion control.
Coir rolls and pallets planted with indigenous species are used to provide an instant living aquatic margin. These sustainable products are propagated and matured in our own nursery which is fed with spring water and is situated at the foot of the North Downs in the Tillingbourne Valley.
In high-energy environments, we combine soft revetments with traditional details such as gabion baskets, mattresses and reinforced soil structures to offer additional strength and durability.
Marginal Planting Schemes
Clients who have a pond, lake or watercourse call on our expertise to advise on what to plant, where to plant it and when. Once they have decided upon the species they require we plant up their schemes for them.
Our habitat-creation projects are not just beautiful to look they serve a serious purpose.
From the construction of wetland mitigation ponds for newts or the creation of water vole habitat along rivers, all our projects have a careful eye on the native aquatic planting, considering the likes and requirements of the inhabitants!
These are just a few of the services we offer – you may want advice or some work carried out that’s not mentioned. If you do please do get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org we may well be able to do it for you or if we can’t we might know someone who can!
